Our role differs depending whether the lender is offering pure ‘asset finance’ or more structured lending, which often involves Cash Reserve Accounts and Assets Under Management to be held by the lender.
We believe that every superyacht loan facility is bespoke to the client and we take the time to ask what is important to you. Some clients are most concerned to achieve the lowest margin interest rates, whereas others are more concerned to ensure the facility complements their broader commercial and banking relationships.
Examples of our work include the financing of an 80 metre motor yacht to raise capital for the owner, and the finance of a newbuild 70 metre Dutch build, which we subsequently re-financed with a different lender after 24 months.
